Pizza…I just love it

I love pizzas…in fact, sometimes I feel I just am not able to satiate my taste buds. I have it today and am happy, however, just a few days later I want to dig into yet another one. I love the cheesy yummy combination of fresh vegetables. Junk food …it may be but I guess …once a while it is good to just let your hair down, forget those nasty calories and dig into a yummy treat like this.

This is one simple and easy recipe that I like. The other day, I had some kadai paneer lying at home and took just the paneer (minus the gravy) out of it chopped it into small pieces and put on a generous helping on it. It was great, a typical Indian pizza. Great taste …great flavor. The hot breads pizza here makes a variation by adding boiled chicken or then the tandoori pizza has delicious suuculent tandoori chicken tikkas chopped and added to the other toppings.

Coming back to my pizza craving, here’s the recipe to the basic yummy pizza, the rest is left to imagination and creativity.

Ingredients:
2 small pizza bases
1 onion , chopped fine
1 capsicum , chopped fine
1 tomato, chopped fine
Hot and sweet Maggi sauce(you could also use tomato ketchup)
1 tsp ajwain
Salt to taste
Grated Mozaraella cheese

Method:Mix together finely chopped tomatoes, onion and capsicum. Add 2 pinches of salt and mix in. Keep aside for 5 minutes. Take the pizza base and spread a layer of sauce on it (you could even use readymade pizza base sauce). Sprinkle 2 pinches of ajwain on it. Spread the vegetable mixture on it. Sprinkle evenly the grated mozaraella. Bake at 180 degrees in a pre-heated oven for approximately 10 minutes or till the cheese has melted completely and the base is crisp. Enjoy!!
